Open Houses will be held every Wednesday in July from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We are kicking off our Open Houses on July 7th with an Ice Cream Social.  Enjoy a cool treat, see the community and take a golf cart ride around our lake.  We look forward to seeing you this July!

Waterford Place will be kicking off the Summer Concert Series on Tuesday, June 8th with the Calder City Concert Band.  A cookout begins at 5:30 p.m. for only $5.  If you plan to attend the cookout please RSVP by calling 667-1725.  The concert will begin at 6:45 p.m. at the Waterfront Pavilion. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and a blanket.  If you have any questions please call 667-1725.  We look forward to seeing you there! 

May is shaping up to be a busy month here at Waterford Place!  We are excited to be welcoming new residents home this week!  The Waterford Place Walking Club celebrated its kickoff last week.  The Walking Club now meets Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Stop by the Front Desk, (Enter Door A) and we’ll be happy to sign you up.  We also invite you to enjoy lunch or dinner with us and tour our beautiful community on one of the following dates:

The Waterford Place Walking Club is hosting its Kickoff Celebration this Monday, April 26 at 10:30 a.m.  Come and register at the Waterfront Pavilion; park at the main entrance (Door A). Spring has sprung and the warm weather is upon us!  To celebrate spring Waterford Place is hosting an Ice Cream Social, this Tuesday, April 6^th from 2 PM until 4 PM.  With an assortment of cool treats including hot fudge sundaes, root beer floats and dove bars you’ll be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.  Enjoy your ice cream and the warm weather with a walk around our private lake and take a tour of our brand-new community. Recently, I was talking with a resident and asked if Waterford Place has changed her normal routine.  She said “My activities are the same, except broadened because of friends here.”  This particular resident’s response is just one example of the many who have found that joining an independent community doesn’t detract from their normal day-to-day life but rather enhances it.  Residents at Waterford Place stay busy playing board games, enjoying the art of theater, attending concerts and hymn sings, social hours and more, thanks to our Life Enrichment Director.
